This quilt came to me from a local Project Linus group already pieced. The bargello design lent itself to some simple quilting so I did wavy lines vertically down the quilt. Surprisingly enough I have never quilted wavy lines, although wonky straight lines have been seen in these parts before. I like the way this has turned out. It will be returned to the group for another member to stitch on the binding.
This is another tick of my 2016FAL list! 5 out of 17 done - I think I need to get a wriggle on with some of the outstanding projects.
Now all the food is ready and we are just waiting the arrival of friends for the Ireland v Wales rugby match ...... last time we watched them play with these friends we were all living in New Zealand and Wales won - boohoo!!!! Hopefully Ireland will pull it out of the bag today. x
